Adding Databricks Models

This guide walks you through the steps to add Databricks Foundation or Custom models in Databricks Provider using the TrueFoundry platform, along with configuring access controls.

Adding Databricks Models

1. Navigate to Model Creation

• In the TrueFoundry Dashboard, go to AI Gateway → Models
• Select Databricks as your model provider

2. Configure Model Account

• Choose an existing Databricks Model Account, or click Create New to set up a new one
• This account will be used to access and manage your Databricks models

3. Add Model Configuration

• Display Name: Enter a user-friendly name for your model
• Model ID: Enter the name Databricks uses for the model — the serving endpoint name (for example databricks-gpt-5-1), or, for a Unity Catalog model service, its fully qualified catalog.schema.name (for example system.ai.claude-sonnet-4-5)
  The Model ID must exactly match the name in Databricks. This is case-sensitive and must be identical. See Adding Models for how to find each one.
