When a tenant requests deletion of their TrueFoundry organization account, the request is acknowledged and a 7-day grace period begins. During this window, you can cancel the request if you decide to keep the account. After the grace period ends, the account and its data are permanently deleted.Only tenant admins can request deletion or reactivate an account that is scheduled for deletion. Enterprise tenants cannot request deletion from the platform—contact your TrueFoundry admin or TrueFoundry Support to submit a deletion request.
Account deletion is permanent after the grace period. Export any data you need before you request deletion.
When deletion is requested, the account is marked for deletion and tenant admins receive a confirmation email. In the final days of the grace period, tenant admins receive reminder emails (about 3 days, and 1 day before deletion). After the 7-day grace period ends, the account is cleared for final removal and then permanently deleted. Tenant admins receive a final confirmation email when the account is removed.During the grace period, all users in the organization—including tenant admins—are blocked from using the platform. Tenant admins can still reactivate the account to cancel deletion.
Enterprise tenants must contact TrueFoundry Support to request account deletion. The steps below apply to non-enterprise tenants.

Non-admin users cannot request account deletion. Only users with the tenant admin role see and can use Delete Account.
After deletion is requested, everyone in the organization is blocked from further work on the platform until a tenant admin reactivates the account or the grace period ends and the account is deleted.Tenant admins see the scheduled deletion date and a Reactivate account button:
Blocked screen for tenant admins
Other users see the same scheduled deletion notice, with guidance to contact a tenant admin to cancel deletion:
If you want to keep the account, a tenant admin can cancel deletion at any time during the 7-day grace period:
Sign in to TrueFoundry.
On the Account scheduled for deletion screen, select Reactivate account.
Reactivating restores access for everyone in the organization and stops the deletion process. Reminder emails stop once the account is reactivated.
After the grace period ends and the account is permanently deleted, it cannot be recovered. Contact TrueFoundry Support if you need help before that deadline.
